TINY KING

We have always considered Cal to be a pretty baby, but now someone not related to him thinks so also. We entered Cal in the Sunburst USA Baby Contest. Preliminaries were held in Albany. Cal competed in the Tiny Boys age group. He won Best Attire, Most Photogenic, Prettiest Smile and walked away as the Tiny King. As you can see from the bottom two pics he was having fun on stage with everyone clapping for him. He also clapped for himself, we are trying to teach him some modesty, not working. There will be no living with him now. Anyway, this qualified him for the State Finals in Atlanta. Not sure if we will go, however the lady in charge in Albany said that we should go and that he should be in print. This win did win Cal his entry fees to the Finals($250.00). So who knows, maybe it is off to Atlanta.

CAL'S POOR LITTLE HANDS

In case you did not know, a couple of weeks ago Cal grabbed my hair iron and burned his little hands. He received 2nd degree burns on both of his hands, the left being much worse. I don't know who cried more, Cal or Mama( I think mama). We had to keep both hands wrapped up which really irritated Cal. The bottom pic is right after it happened and the top is about a week later when we got to take off the bandage on his right hand. The bandages really did not slow him up much, he adapted very well. As of today both bandages are now off, just still keeping the left hand clean and doctored up.

BATHING BEAUTIES

Saylor came to visit this past weekend. We all ate supper at Mama Gail's house on Sunday. The kids played and played. When it came time for Saylor to take a bath Cal wanted one also. Since he was going to need one anyway, and he was practically climbing in the tub, we decided why not. These two little ones love each other so much! I guess being only two weeks apart, they have alot in common.

CAL IN A BOX

We decided to go through some of Cal's toys and box up the ones that he does not play with anymore to send to his little cousin. As I boxed things up Cal decides that he still wants to play with some. He then decided on being boxed up himself and sent to Miss Caroline or Miss Taylor.
