ZOO - PART FIVE

I don't remember exactly what he was looking at, but you can tell that he really wanted to get it. Cal had such a big time and i'm sure we will be making many more trips to the zoo. Thank you Trellis for asking us to be a part of your trip.

ZOO - PART FOUR

After working and looking so hard, Cal got desperate and actually tried to hold his sippy cup himself. However, I had to step in a give it a little lift.

Here's Cal and Trellis actually looking at the camera. It was very hard to get Cal to look at me, there was way too much going on and he didn't want to miss a single second.

You can't see his face good, but Cal is laughing so hard at a couple of very fat and big pigs. They were very funny looking to him.

A DAY AT THE ZOO - PART ONE

This morning we joined cousin Trellis at Chehaw Park. Her PreK class had a field trip and Trellis asked us to join her. This is Cal 's first trip to the park and he loved every minute. Also, this is where he is going to have his first birthday party, at the play park, in April.

MR. SERIOUS

When it comes to the current events on CNN, Cal is all business. He knows how important it is to be well informed......

JUST KIDDING

What really had Cal's attention was BARNEY!!! When Barney is playing Cal goes into some sort of a trance.

A BIG ACCOMPLISHMENT

Finally, Cal is holding his own bottle. Although this picture is proof, Cal still would rather mommy and dad to hold his bottle. But we now know that he can do it if needs be.

DAD TEACHING CAL TO WALK

I don't know who wants Cal to walk the most, Cal or dad. Cal however does have excellent balance and I do not believe that it will be much longer.

DADDY'S HOME

A very rare time that Cal is still awake when dad gets home. As you can see Cal was so happy to see his daddy, by this time of the night he has had enough of mommy.

RING AROUND THE RUBBERMAID

This rubbermaid container is just the right hight for Cal to practice is walking techniques. He will spend minutues going round and round. Like the hair?? Just got up from his afternoon nap.

RIVERFRONT PARK - PART 3

Cal was not sure what he was suppose to do with this, but anything that he gets to bang around is ok by him. After all of the fun at the park we headed over to dad's office to take him out for lunch.

RIVERFRONT PARK - Part 1

This morning after his nap we decided to head downtown to Riverfront Park's Turtle Grove. This was Cal's first trip to the park and first time in a real swing. As you can see by his expressions, we will be making more trips as he gets more and more mobile.

HITTING THE BOTTLE

Another kitchen favorite is to open and close the cabinet where we keep a few spirits(for baking purposes only of course). Cal however, seems to love the Early Times bottle.

CLEANING OUT THE SPICE RACK

A favorite of Cal's these days is to completely wipe out the spice rack in the pantry. He has a built in radar, the minute that I open the door he comes from out of no where and attacks.
