LEAVE NO DRINK UNATTENDED

Mama was too busy talking or something so Cal did not pass up on the opportunity to grab mom's drink and try a sip. Why doesn't she put this in my sippy cup????

THE BIRTHDAY CREW!

We decided again to have one big birthday party for the May birthdays. We all headed over to Aunt Lori's house to enjoy swimming and water sliding. Note the coconut drink in the picture, that is actually the birthday cake.

HELP ME AUNT SONIA

Here's Aunt Sonia helping Cal with the pinata. Cal was not sure what to do with it. He did like making it spin round and round.

CAL'S GIFT

It's not even my birthday and I still get a gift.

PLAY BALL!

We know that Cal will definitely play some sort of ball. We just don't know what yet but he loves a ball.

KISSING COUSINS

Here's Cal and Saylor, aren't they just too cute. We call them kissing cousins because Saylor just loves to kiss Cal. Cal however gets tired of it and starts pushing her away.

SWINGING WITH MAMA GAIL

Saturday we went over to Mama Gail's house to visit with Marnie and the girls before heading to Lori's for the big birthday part. Here's Mama Gail swinging with her two babies. But check out who is sitting next to Mama Gail. Cal is a bit stingy with his Mama Gail.

NAKED BABY

The other evening we were outside watering the plants when Cal got a hold of the water hose. He got so wet that I had to take off his clothes. Cal did not seem to mind running around naked at all! Actually, he enjoyed it just a little too much if you ask me.

MAMA'S JEWELRY

This is one of Cal's new favorite activities; pulling everything out of moms jewelry cabinet. He takes great pride in making sure that he does not miss anything.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY MAMA GAIL

For mother's day this year everyone met in Albany to eat out. As you can see Cal is definitely Mama Gail's little boy.

TANNAH'S FIELD DAY

The other day we went to Tannah's school to watch her in her field day activities. It was a bit hot so Cal had to hit the sippy cup.

CAL EATING ACTUAL FOOD!

This is the first time that Cal would try anything other than baby food. Here he's trying out a biter biscuit. Things went pretty good until big chunks started breaking apart in his mouth, that was the end of that.

DAD HELP ME OUT

This is what happens when you leave dad in charge. Look closely at Cal's shirt. Yes, that 's right dad put it on backwards.

TOO SLOW

However, Saylor crawls faster than Cal walks. She intercepted the ball and as you can see, Cal was extremely upset.

IT'S OFFICIAL - HE'S WALKING

Cal is now fully mobile. I believe that he crawled from about a week and half. Here he is trying to outrun Saylor with the ball.

LITTLE SURFER DUDE

Bill says he looks like a surfer in this getup. This was a gift from Aunt Lori and the girls. Sports Illustrated needs a swimsuit addition for the men. Cal's ready!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FROM MAMA AND DADDY

With all of the hustle and bustle of the birthday party we realized that we had forgotten to give Cal his present from us. So yes, mom and dad had gotten the birthday boy a present. As you can see he loves it! We try to go for a stroll every evening.

WE HAVE FED THE COWS

Boy, that was hard work. In case any of you are curious as to what we were feeding the cows, my dad gets the unused bread from Subway every day. The cows seem to love it. If you noticed, we had to have a fence between us since we had the babies. One time Big Man actually came into the back of dad's truck. No one was hurt except for the truck.

DADDY, CAL AND BIG MAN

Bill's not exactly sure he like being so close to the bull..aka BIG MAN. Cal is taking his cue from dad and being a bit cautious.

LITTLE MISS DAREDEVIL

Miss Saylor did not seem to be scared of the cows. She likes to live on the edge.

MARNIE AND SAYLOR

Marnie, Saylor, Eden and Jimmy went along with us. Actually they were the ones that talked us into going.

ME AND MY DAD

Here's Cal and dad the next day after the big party at Mama Gail's house. We all are getting ready to go feed the cows.

CAL AND GRANDPA

Cal and Grandpa had to take a little time out to discuss some serious business. Neither one would tell the topic of that conversation.

OPENING THE GIFTS

Cal had so many gifts to open but after finding something to play with mom had to finish the job. Everyone was so generous, thank you all for everything.

ENJOYING THE POOL

There were a few brave ones that jumped in the pool, most just enjoyed sitting out in the sun.

BABY CAROLINE AND DADDY

It meant so much to us that the Montgomery McDaniels made it down for the party. Here's the newest addition, Miss Caroline. She really enjoyed the party, she drank and then went to sleep. She was such a doll the entire day.

GIRLS,GIRLS, GIRLS!

Poor Cal and Drew, there were girls everywhere. In addition to the girls in the picture there were three other girls that missed out, Caroline, Saylor and Laney. Sorry guys but you are out numbered.

SILLY DAD

I have no idea what Bill was doing in this picture, but Cal thought it was funny.

GRANDMA DALE

Bill's mom made it to Cal's birthday party and did not mind posing for this photo op.

THE SMASH CAKE

As you can see, not interested at all. Tannah on the other hand might just take it for herself.

THE BIRTHDAY CAKE!

Here is picture of Cal's birthday cake. He also had a small smash cake, which did not get smashed. It didn't even get touched, at least not by Cal.

READY FOR THE BIG DAY

Here's Cal and Grandpa on the big day. It is so hard to believe that an entire year has gone by. We are so blessed to have such a special little boy.

GRANDPA'S HERE!

Dave and Ortrun drove down Friday to spend some special time with Cal before his big birthday. Cal was very happy to see grandpa.
